Burntwood School is an Academy located at Burntwood Lane, London SW17 0AQ. The School’s capacity exceeds 1,700, catering for girls aged 11-16 and a mixed sixth form.

The School is seeking a security provider to supply on-site guarding and patrolling services 24/7 so it will include daytime, overnight and weekend shifts.

The estimated contract value is approximately £140,000 per year. It is intended that the contract will commence on 1 August 2019 and run for a fixed period of three years, with the possibility of extending the contract by one further year.

The process
If you are interested in bidding for this contract, Burntwood School requires the information sought in the SQ form below from candidates responding to this advertisement. The SQ can be downloaded from the link at the bottom of this webpage.

Responses to the SQ will be used to select candidates to receive invitations to tender. Selected candidates will receive further information as to the next step of the process. The school intends to invite 5 candidates to submit a formal tender, subject to there being sufficient compliant responses.

In order to simplify this process, you do not need to provide supporting documents, such as accounts, certificates, statements or policies with this document. However, we may ask to see these documents at a later stage, so it is advisable you ensure that they can be made available upon request. You may also be asked to clarify your answers or provide more details about certain issues.

The closing date for receipt of the Selection Questionnaire is: Friday 17th May 2019.

We will contact you after this date to let you know whether you have been successful. If so, you will then be invited to tender for the contract.

The school reserves the right not to award any or part of the contract which is the subject of this notice and reserves the right to terminate the procurement process at any time. The school will not be liable for any costs incurred by those expressing an interest in tendering for this contract opportunity.

The Invitation to Tender, including the contract terms, is available below. As stated above, please do not submit a formal tender in response to this document unless you have been invited by the school to do so after the SQ stage.
